1. Scope
This AI Act Conformity Statement (“Statement”) is published by Ambersoft FZE LLC (“we”, “us”) pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act) in connection with AI systems used on the 17VLT Fund platform (“Platform”). It is effective from the date above and will be updated when our use or classification of an AI system materially changes and at least annually.
This Statement applies if you are a resident of the European Union or European Economic Area accessing the Platform.
2. AI systems in use
| System / Function | Description | Classification | Provider |
|---|---|---|---|
| Founder Application Scoring | AI-assisted analysis of founder applications to support tier placement and fund allocation decisions | Limited Risk * | Anthropic (Claude API) |
| Document Analysis | Automated extraction and review of uploaded documents (contracts, IP records, app store data) | Minimal Risk | Anthropic (Claude API) |
| Platform Automation | Internal workflow automation, communication drafting, and task management | Minimal Risk | Anthropic / OpenAI |
* The Founder Application Scoring system is currently classified as Limited Risk on the basis that AI outputs are used to support — not replace — human decision-making, with all final tier placement and fund allocation decisions made by qualified human reviewers. A classification review was refreshed for this publication. If the use or applicable law causes the system to be classified as High Risk under Annex III, the required conformity assessment procedures will be initiated before that high-risk use is deployed.
3. Your rights as a user
3.1 Disclosure of AI Use
We use artificial intelligence to assist in evaluating founder applications, analysing documents, and supporting operational workflows on the Platform. You are entitled to know when AI has been used in a process that affects you.
3.2 Human Oversight
All AI-assisted decisions that affect your tier placement, fund allocation, or IP valuation are subject to human review before being finalised. No fully automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects are made without human oversight.
3.3 Right to Request Human Review
If you have received an AI-assisted assessment and wish to request that a human reviewer re-evaluate it, you may do so at any time by contacting us at legal@17vlt.com or privacy@17vlt.com. We will acknowledge your request within five (5) business days and provide a substantive response within thirty (30) days. This right is in addition to your data subject rights under our Privacy Policy.
4. Provider transparency
We have executed or are in the process of executing Data Processing Agreements with our AI model providers (Anthropic, OpenAI). We have requested or will request EU AI Act transparency documentation from these providers pursuant to Article 53 of the EU AI Act (applicable to GPAI model providers from August 2025). Such documentation is retained as part of our internal compliance record.
5. Compliance measures in place
- Human oversight protocol applied to all AI-assisted founder assessment decisions
- AI system usage documented in internal technical and compliance records
- Data Processing Agreements executed with AI providers covering data processing terms and, where applicable, EU AI Act obligations
- AI Act classification reviewed after material system or regulatory changes
- Applicable GPAI provider transparency documentation maintained in compliance records
- Right to human review available to all affected users; response within 30 days
6. 17VLT Community mobile scope
The 17VLT Community MVP does not use the Fund scoring systems to decide whether a person may join the Community, publish content, receive moderation action or use Community tokens. Its project guidance and mentor prompts are deterministic product content rather than responses generated by an AI model. Community reports and account restrictions are handled by product rules and authorised human staff.
If a future Community release introduces model-generated guidance or automated decisions, this Statement, the Privacy Policy, the app disclosure and any required consent/review controls must be updated before that feature is enabled.
7. Updates to this Statement
This Statement will be updated upon: completion of the AI Act Classification Assessment; any reclassification of AI systems; material changes to our AI usage; or applicable regulatory developments. Next scheduled review: August 31, 2027. Material updates will be notified via the Platform or by email.
